Ship & Yacht Registration
Seychelles is a member of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO). Vessels of less than 15 years may register under Seychelles flag.
The owner of the vessel is required to be a citizen of Seychelles or a Company registered in Seychelles.
Seychelles registered vessels may be owned by an offshore company (IBC), even a Seychelles Domestic Company or individual.
Registration is administered by the Registrar Of Ships in Seychelles who is responsible for compliance with regulations continued in IMO Conventions by Seychelles registered vessels.
The crew pay no tax on salaries when operating in international waters.
If the owner is an IBC it will automatically be exempt of taxes on profits. It will benefit from all advantages and privileges extended under the International Business Companies Act.
YACHTS
Foreign owners are best protected by using an IBC for registration of Yachts.
We require:-
· Proof of ownership - Sale document or builder’s certificate
· The incorporated IBC (we can provide)
· Marine Surveyor’s Report
· Radio and equipment details of Yacht
OUR FEES FOR REGISTRATION ARE AS LOW AS US$2000.
